THOUGHT FOR TODAY - Who is the Spirit of God? Part 1

THOUGHT for TODAY – Who is the Spirit of God? Part 1

We are doing another series of “Thoughts” on “Who is the Spirit of God ?”
– from Genesis to Revelations.

The earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. [Gen 1:2 NKJV]

The Spirit of God was with the Father and Son in Creation.

The Hebrew Root word for “Spirit of God” is ruwach and the Biblical usage according to Strongs:

Spirit of God, the third person of the triune God, the Holy Spirit, coequal, coeternal with the Father and the Son.

We see in Genesis 1:1 – God the Father; and in Genesis 1:2 - God the Holy Spirit; Colossians 1:16 – God the Son – creating all things in the heaven and earth.

Col 1:16 NKJV
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

THREE are ONE:

1Jo 5:7 NKJV
For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

The Thought for today is:

Get to know the Holy Spirit of God – He is One with the Father and Son. They are coequal and coeternal – yet Each have different operations that they have fulfilled throughout the Bible.

Get to know the Holy Spirit of God. He's here with us today!
