THOUGHT FOR TODAY - PRAISE THE LORD! EVEN IF YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE IT!

Thought for Today:

Praise the Lord! Even if you don't feel like it - praise Him! He is worthy of all praise.

We enter into His presence with praise! In His presence is fullness of joy! He alone can heal your  broken heart. He made you. He will fill you with His love, joy and peace as you praise Him. He is worthy! He is good! He is God! Praise Him!

1 Praise the LORD!
For it is good to sing praises to our God;
for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting.

2 The LORD builds up Jerusalem;
he gathers the outcasts of Israel.

3 He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds. ESV

My vision: Win Souls! Make Disciples! Build the Church
The Lord said to me many years ago to "ASK FOR THE HEATHEN"

Ask of me, and I shall give [thee] the heathen [for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth [for] thy possession. - Psalm 2:8 KJV

I asked for 100,000 people - He said; "Linda, that's not enough, I don't have very many people asking." So I said, "OK, I'll ask for 1 million." Then, my mind started to kick in and thoughts came rushing in that said, "How are you going to reach
ONE million people?"

I knew it wasn't going to be me, or my strategies, it would have to be GOD'S STRATEGIES! I committed it to prayer, making videos, social media and my "Thought for Today blog."

THEN...several years later God opened the doors to start
Bible schools around the world. We have 300+ Bible school students have 800 students, wanting and waiting to start!

Become a PART! Linda@LindaCross.com

Our church has donated time, money and TV's to help
launch the schools and also to sponsors students who are
not able to pay full tuition costs and are excited to see
all the fruit from our giving!

We are looking for those people who have a heart and want to: WIN SOULS! MAKE DISCIPLES! BUILD THE CHURCH!

If you'd like to be a part of what we are doing in Mexico...
please consider a donation. 100% goes toward starting schools to make disciples by teaching them the Word of God!
It's powerful!

We have recent testimonies of healing and more from
students who are attending the school from our recent
trip to Mexico.

Thank you!

God bless!

God is all about relationships!

Thought for today:

God is love. He is all about relationships!

God sent His Son Jesus, to take the penalty for our sin. If we got into Heaven the way we are - sinful - heaven wouldn't be perfect anymore.

God is holy and nothing unholy gets in!

But, thank God He had a plan! God was willing to give His Son, Jesus to become a human being and to take the penalty for sin! Sin causes us to be separated from God.

Jesus became SIN for us, He knew no sin himself. Jesus died on the Cross and became a curse for us. He was buried, raised from the dead, got the Keys of Hell and death and rose from the dead. He was alive, He died, and He is alive forevermore!

John 3: Jesus said:

12 “If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?

13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is,the Son of Man who is in heaven.

14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,

15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

18  He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." NKJV

When you receive Jesus as your Savior and Lord,  you receive not only forgiveness of your sin, you also become "born of His Spirit". You become a new person inside. A new creation.

2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV — Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Get to know the Lord. You'll want to love Him with your whole being, when you find out what He did for you and how much He loves you!

Blessings and love,

THOUGHT FOR TODAY - GOD IS LOVE - WHAT CAN LOVE DO IN OUR NATION IF WE WALK IN IT TODAY?

Thought for Today:

God is LOVE and He expects His children to walk in love. He even defines love for us:

1 Corinthians 13:1-11

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.

2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;

5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;

6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;

7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.

9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part.

10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

As a child, I had the best father a girl could have. He taught me how to love, because He loved me. He was kind to me. He taught me to love and respect others. He was generous. He was always helping neighbors and those in need. I learned how to love through His example.

You may not have had a father or mother who loved you and showed you love.

Good news! God is love and He wants to teach you all about Himself and His love!

He is our Heavenly Father and He will teach you, if you ask. You can come to Him through Jesus Christ, His Son.

God is all about relationships. He wants His children to know Him and His love and then they can love one another. Here's more about His love:

Proverbs 10:12
Hatred stirs up strife,
But love covers all sins.

Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

Ephesians 4:2
with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,

1 Peter 4:8
And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins."

Luke 6:35
“But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil."

Luke 6:36
“Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.

Ephesians 4:32
And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Colossians 3:12
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;

1 Peter 3:8
Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, becourteous;

1 John 3:16
By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

1 John 3:17
But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

1 John 3:18
My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

1 John 4:11
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Think deeply today about what love could do in this nation and what could happen if God's children His love today.

Blessings and love,

THE GREAT COMMISSION - WIN SOULS and MAKE DISCIPLES!

Pastor David Cross and Linda M. Cross recently were a part of the graduation class from the International School of Ministry. They introduced Pastor Jose Esquivel to the ISOM school two years ago. Yesterday, July 16th, they graduated 47 students! Congratulations!

It was a great blessing to have the FOUNDER of the International School of Ministry - Dr. Berin Gilfillan, officiate the graduation. The ISOM curriculum currently is being used in 142 nations and in well over 65 of the world’s major languages are being developed. By 2010, over 13,000 training sites around the world had been identified that were using ISOM materials. This number consistently grows by about 1,000 new schools each year.

Christian Family Churches purchased the ISOM license for all of Central America to take the International School of Ministry to Mexico. Last year Pastor Linda M. Cross went to Mexico with a team from the Church of the Chosen Generation and Christian Family Church. During that time they introduced the ministry school to 18 pastors. Since that time, with the hard work and dedication of Servando and Liliana Sanchez and Rosario RamΓrez, Olga Esquivel Varela and Maria Del Carmen De La Rosa Celedon from Mexico - there are over 400 students and over 25 churches with schools!

Our church has donated time, money and TV's to help launch the schools and also to sponsors students who are not able to pay full tuition costs and are excited to see all the fruit from our giving!

We are looking for those people who have a heart and want to: WIN SOULS! MAKE DISCIPLES! AND BUILD THE CHURCH!
