Thought for Today - Who is the Spirit of God to You? Part 2

Thought for Today:  Who is the Spirit of God to You?
Part 2

We are looking at who the Spirit of God is in the Old and New Testament.

We saw in Genesis He helped in the creation of the heaven and earth.
In Exodus, He was with Joseph and He gave him the ability to interpret dreams.

Today, in Exodus 31 – we see another man, whom God filled with the
Spirit of God and gave him the ability to create beautiful gold, silver and bronze ornaments with jewels and utensils for God's temple.

Exodus 31:1-5 NKJV

1 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying:

2 "See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.

3 "And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all [manner of] workmanship,

4 "to design artistic works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze,

5 "in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all [manner of] workmanship.

The thought for today is – God wants to fill you with His Spirit and use you to do great things for Him! Ask Him to give you an idea, wisdom, understanding, knowledge in all manner of workmanship to prosper you so you can do things for Him.

Deut. 8:18 NKJV
18 "And you shall remember the LORD your God, for [it is] He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as [it is] this day.

We have started Bible Schools in Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras, and we believe God will use you – if you ask Him to show you how to prosper – so you can help us get more schools started. I challenge you to not limit God. Believe and ask Him to use you!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY - Who is the Spirit of God? Part 1

THOUGHT for TODAY – Who is the Spirit of God? Part 1

We are doing another series of “Thoughts” on “Who is the Spirit of God ?”
– from Genesis to Revelations.

The earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. [Gen 1:2 NKJV]

The Spirit of God was with the Father and Son in Creation.

The Hebrew Root word for “Spirit of God” is ruwach and the Biblical usage according to Strongs:

Spirit of God, the third person of the triune God, the Holy Spirit, coequal, coeternal with the Father and the Son.

We see in Genesis 1:1 – God the Father; and in Genesis 1:2 - God the Holy Spirit; Colossians 1:16 – God the Son – creating all things in the heaven and earth.

Col 1:16 NKJV
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

1Jo 5:7 NKJV
For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

The Thought for today is:

Get to know the Holy Spirit of God – He is One with the Father and Son. They are coequal and coeternal – yet Each have different operations that they have fulfilled throughout the Bible.

Get to know the Holy Spirit of God. He's here with us today!
