THOUGHT for TODAY - What Adam & Eve did that caused us all the problems in this life!

Thought for Today - Don't choose the WRONG FRUIT! Part 2 – The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil - CHOOSE WISELY!

God told Adam and Eve – “DON’T EAT from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”  Why – because they would die!

Eve was tempted by how it looked and by the thought of being “wise.” The devil placed in her mind these thoughts and because she started to think on them – she chose to eat from the fruit and disobey God. It not only affected her – but she got her husband to disobey too!

They died spiritually immediately! They became afraid of God. They were walking and talking with God in the Garden of Eden – now they were hiding themselves from Him.  Sin always results in fear and running away from God.

Thank God He made a way for us to come back to Him.  Jesus Christ became the Lamb of God! He paid the price for our sins – so we can come into God’s presence without the sense of guilt and shame. If we are in Christ we are called righteous!

2 Corinthians 5:21
For He made Him who knew no sin [to be] sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

God wants us to choose with our will to receive Christ into our lives. He won’t force anyone to do anything. God is love! He sets before us the choices: Life or death, blessing or cursing – and He even tells us the best choice – choose LIFE. But, it’s up to us to choose.

Choose LIFE – choose JESUS!
