THOUGHT OF THE DAY - Part 5 - Fruit
Want to have LOVE, PEACE and JOY in your life?
Have you ever wondered how some people seem to have no
problem loving other people? Their joy and peace is evident
amidst life’s problems. They have the ability to be long-suffering
to people, even when they are not nice to them. Why?
We’ve been studying FRUIT this week. Part 1 of this week’s
“Thought of the Day” was about seed reproducing after its kind.
And, the DNA of the seed is within itself. So, if you want to have
the FRUIT of the SPIRIT – you have to be BORN of the SPIRIT –
you have to have God’s DNA. Then, the fruit of the Spirit will grow in your life.
Jesus is the SEED that crushed Satan’s head. Head represents
authority. Jesus became sin for us, who knew no sin and took the
penalty for our sin. Satan’s authority in the earth was crushed forever!
Gen 3:15 NIV
“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and
between your offspring and hers;
he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel."
God the Father gave His Son, Jesus to pay the price for our sin…
2 Corinthians 5:21
“For He made Him who knew no sin [to be] sin for us, that we might
become the righteousness of God in Him.”
Now, you can receive Jesus and be born of the Spirit
and get God’s DNA in you, so you can grow the fruit of the Spirit…
Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
Against such there is no law.”
